Abstract: Pot experiments were performed in a greenhouse to compare zinc (Zn) and iron (Fe) sources: 1) corn plants were grown in a Zn-deficient soil and received a Zn fertilization (0, 1.9, 3.8, and 7.7 mg kg-1; equivalent to 0, 5, 10, and 20 kg Zn ha-1) as ZnEDTA and ZnSO4; 2) sorghum plants were grown in a soil where iron chlorosis symptoms had been observed and received a Fe fertilization (0, 1.5, 3, and 6 mg kg-1; equivalent to 0, 3, 6, and 12 kg Fe ha-1) as Fe-EDDHA and FeSO4. Corn dry matter (DM), Zn concentration, and Zn uptake were higher with Zn-EDTA as compared to ZnSO4. RESUMEN Hay pocos estudios de nutrición en los diferentes cultivares de Lilium spp., sobre todo para flor de corte, por lo que la presente investigación tuvo por objetivo determinar las curvas de absorción de nutrientes para tres cultivares pertenecientes a distintos tipos. Los resultados indican que los cvs. Navona y Fangio, que corresponden a los tipos Asiático e híbrido L/A, presentan diferencias significativas en la absorción diaria y acumulada de la mayoría de los nutrientes, a pesar de mostrar niveles de acumulación de materia seca (MS) y C similares. El cv. Oriental Miami presentó una mayor acumulación total de MS y C, producto de bulbos y flores de mayor tamaño que Navona y Fangio, pero no mostró niveles superiores de absorción de macronutrientes.... |
